Amzzing performance by TMK at Odukathur Mutt on 17 Feb 09. It was the first tiem I was going to the Mutt, and couldnt see and enjoy the presiding diety at the temple there..May be will do that the next time I visit, which I hope will be today for the concert of Mysore nagaraj and Mysore Manjunath accompanied by Umayalpuram K Sivaraman.
What a tarditionalist cum modern style and what an amazing voice and the selection os songs..Simply fantabulous!! Just couldnt get off my place, though it was the last floor seat that I was occupying.Since it was getting late and I had to catch an auto who would agree to come to the place that I want to be dropped, I had to leave..Otherwise, got to know from the maami who was sitting behind me that he would keep singing till crowd is there in the hall.Oh man! I just fell fro him yday..Even told my mom that I would check if he has any younger brothers so that we could consider them for Appu :-) Enjoyed the concert inspite of being bogged down by what would i do for the forth coming Tirupathi trip, how would i make the trip postpone for the next week, what to tell people at M's home, what to tell M at all after the argument we had in the course of the day, was just getting irritated to get home. Instead wanted to juts imeerse myself ignoringa ll tehse negative radiations in the music.
Anyways, something is better than nothing. So, Thanks a Ton Dear Lord for giving me an opportunity to listen to your glory through TMK and his troupe. Thank you again!
