Usually, I call up home whenever I have to talk to my parents and sister, but once in a while this surprise comes when I receive a call from home..Whoever said" There is no place like Home", long live that person..
One feels very nicee when the call comes as a surprise..There are times when bogged down by work or mood being off or for whatsoever silly reason, I dont call up home, and then there will be a call from home asking why I hadnt call and if all is fine at my end.During those times,I would kind of know when seeing the number flashing on my mobile..But here, I'm refering to those times, when during the dawn of the day and when mom calls up to check if I had breaker/lunch..Mom, you are the best in the world! Being away from home for almost 10 years now, I treasure these calls. And the nice smile that comees up on my lips as soon as seeing the number flashing on the mobile, I get transported to a different world altogether, where one neednt worry about anything happening at my end, but think of home, think of parents, think of sis , and live in their world. Thanks Amma for calling. Thanks Appa for all the love that you send through the RF signals that reaches me intact and I can feel and live in the warmth of your love and affection, Thank you my dear sister, Appu chellam, for you are the apple of my eye!

Krishna Krishna...,Thank you!!
Amzzing performance by TMK at Odukathur Mutt on 17 Feb 09. It was the first tiem I was going to the Mutt, and couldnt see and enjoy the presiding diety at the temple there..May be will do that the next time I visit, which I hope will be today for the concert of Mysore nagaraj and Mysore Manjunath accompanied by Umayalpuram K Sivaraman.
What a tarditionalist cum modern style and what an amazing voice and the selection os songs..Simply fantabulous!! Just couldnt get off my place, though it was the last floor seat that I was occupying.Since it was getting late and I had to catch an auto who would agree to come to the place that I want to be dropped, I had to leave..Otherwise, got to know from the maami who was sitting behind me that he would keep singing till crowd is there in the hall.Oh man! I just fell fro him yday..Even told my mom that I would check if he has any younger brothers so that we could consider them for Appu :-) Enjoyed the concert inspite of being bogged down by what would i do for the forth coming Tirupathi trip, how would i make the trip postpone for the next week, what to tell people at M's home, what to tell M at all after the argument we had in the course of the day, was just getting irritated to get home. Instead wanted to juts imeerse myself ignoringa ll tehse negative radiations in the music.
Anyways, something is better than nothing. So, Thanks a Ton Dear Lord for giving me an opportunity to listen to your glory through TMK and his troupe. Thank you again!
